Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, has dismissed the speculations that he had dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Bankole said this on Sunday, March 22, through his media aide, Omodu Morgan.

“The report contains no iota of truth,” he said.

The former speaker added that he is still a member of PDP Board of Trustees and the party’s National Executive Council member.

Bankole was rumoured to have dumped the Ogun PDP after losing out of the politicking that characterised the primaries of the party.
