Once upon a time, Nollywood had a knack for making us cry like little babies with some of its movies.

Have you ever found yourself not just tearing up, but sobbing uncontrollably over a Nollywood film?

Just in case you've forgotten those days, let's remind as we've have narrowed down the top five times Nollywood brought on all the tears.

The movie which got Nkiru Sylvanus the name Ble-ble, is a story of the trials and ordeal of an orphaned girl, who had to go through lots of torturous experiences to survive.

The emotional movie featured Nkiru Sylvanus, Clem Ohameze, Andy Chukwu, Amaechi Munagor, Ejike Asiegbu and others.

Starring Olu Jacobs, Uche Osotule, Rachel Oniga, Zach Orji and Sam Loco Efe, the movie is about a poor innocent girl, Onome, who got raped, pregnant, and rejected by the father of the child.

The movie starred  John Okafor, Pat Attah, Pete Edochie, Pete Eneh, Nkiru Silvanus among others. Nothing can be more heart wrenching than watching a character die for a crime he didn't commit.

Somehow we wished Nollywood could have given us that 'happy ever after" we were used to, and not just pull the 'unpredictable' plot ish on us.

You probably hated Genevieve Nnaji's character for inflicting so much pain on Omotola's character, and then you cried whenever the pain was inflicted.

The movie starred Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde,Patience Ozokwor, Tony Umez, Oge Okoye among others.

Even in this modern world, realising that someone died wretched but was buried in 3.2million naira casket, would leave you in tears.

It was heartbreaking to watch Tom Njemanze as a poor man with a rich relative willing to spend so much for his funeral.
