AGN president and actress, Ibinabo Fiberesima, has been honoured for her contribution to Nollywood.
Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) president, Ibinabo Fiberesima was recently honored in her motherland, Ireland, by Ta’azor Lee Foundation .
The actress received the recognition for her contribution to AGN and Nollywood as a whole.
Ibinabo took to her Facebook page to share the news with the caption;
"Over the weekend I was Honoured in Ireland my mother’s country for my exceptional contribution to AGN and Nollywood as a whole by Ta’azor Lee Foundation.
"I'am not only grateful but very proud that Nigerians in Diaspora attest to hardwork. I give my all whenever I am called to serve. The members of our Noble Guild always comes first. I pray our Nigerian LEADERS will love their citizens first and put politics aside. To the organisers God bless you all. I am humbled and grateful."
Fiberesima was sworn in for the second time as the AGN president on October 17, 2014.
oN jULY 25, 2015, Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike, filed a suit against Fiberesima, claiming that the election was conducted against court order.
