The brief take-over of INEC's official website by hackers, brought with it, a rude awakening of the presence of serious minded and desperate hackers amongst us.  The Nigerian government needs to pay attention and assign resources to combat Cyber- terrorism, just like the US has done.

Well, that is by the way. Virtually everybody has an online space, and various personal details are scattered everywhere on many social media forums and platforms.

As we desire to interact with business partners and loved ones online, security experts advice that we should pay attention to certain security measures to protect ourselves from Hackers who have malicious intentions.

Internet security gurus say simple things as putting up difficult passwords, hiding your location, posting personal email publicly etc., are overlooked by most people.
