Media influencers, tech organizations, others to participate in week-long event

The Social Media Week Lagos will be kicking off with the Future of Media Summit where some of the most influential media agencies working on the African continent already have a dynamic variety of programming planned for attendants.

The 2016 edition of Social Media Week Lagos kicks off today and the organisers have promised an awesome week in store.

The event will be kicking off with the Future of Media Summit where some of the most influential media agencies working on the African continent already have a dynamic variety of programming planned for attendants.

The theme of the summit is "The Networked African - Technology's Impact on Africa (And How We Can Harness It For Good)".

Organisations and media houses participating in the first round of events include Red Media, The Guardian, Black Enterprise, Quartz Africa, AFP and Pulse.ng.

The Social Media Week Lagos will be holding at the Social Media Week Interactive Pavillion at Plot 5B Water Corporation Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
