This smartphone has taken the mobile world by storm and i am not surprised.
5 reasons this phone deserves its title-‘Best New Handset, Tablet or Device’
The striking curved design of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will make you crave for this device.
The mere fact that it got recognized as the ‘best new handset, tablet or device’ launched during MWC 2015 was an indicator of how much success it would have.
Based on the following reasons, i say the title is well deserved.
Design- Carrying the world’s first dual curved edge makes the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge an extremely good looking phone. Another great thing about this phone is the fact that it is a LOT more attractive in the real world than in the photos.
Fast charging ability- Just like the S6, it is incredibly fast in terms of charging, in fact, a 10 minutes charge can add at least four hours of standby time to your battery.
Better interest in your health- The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge comes with a S Health app and heart rate monitor that is simply your mobile doctor. Not only does it read your pulse accurately, monitor your blood oxygen, it also tells you to be more active on particularly lazy days.
Impressive power saving mode- In order for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge to be as good as it something as important as battery performance was sacrificed. However, it makes up for this with it's impressive power saving mode, switching to this mode at 4% of battery left has managed to keep the Galaxy S6 Edge going for another two hours.
Best pictures ever- We live in a very visual world, meaning that the camera performance of a phone is a very important criteria. Here, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge comes out with flying colours. It comes with a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP in front. It also guarantees having the best selfies, all thanks to the shutter trigger on the back of the phone, so all you have to do is click on that from the back with the phone facing you and you have your selfie of the year.
Despite all of these amazing things, there are a few concerns about the ‘best new handset, tablet or device.’
- It is quite expensive meaning it is definitely not for mid-range customers, costs about ₦180,000.
- Non-removable battery.
- No expandable storage.
Bottom line, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge deserves it's title because it can take down the iPhone 6 and all other Android competition based on it's beautiful design, and impressive features.
The ‘best new handset, tablet or device’ scores 9/10 for me.
