Woman tweets weed request, gets police response

The woman didn't seem phased after the Sheriffs office tweeted at her and actually basked in the full glory of her 15 minutes of fame.

A lady who tweeted a casual message lamenting her lack of weed found herself at the center of a viral storm yesterday, after the Palm Beach County’s Sheriff’s Office sent a cheeky reply.

The woman didn't seem phased after the Sheriff's office tweeted at her and actually basked in the full glory of her 15 minutes of fame.

Sources say Palm Beach County Sheriffs aren't the first law enforcement officials to have a sense of humor about weed — in 2013, York Regional Police found viral fame when they pranked a man seeking pot online. Another man was not so fortunate — he asked for weed to be delivered to his office via twitter and was promptly fired.

She did get her weed in the end however and all was well.
