Mziiki-East Africa’s digital music streaming platform recently received recognition from Google as one of the top East African apps on the Google Play Store, after hitting a milestone of 200,000 downloads.

In his response, Mziiki’s General Manager, Attila Bernariusz said: “We are proud to receive this recognition from Google for the Mziiki app since it shows that we are on the right track to meet our goal of becoming the best digital platform for African music in our chosen markets.”
The digital music streaming platform has spread its tentacles across Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Zambia. Industry watchers say it has gained acceptance across board, and the evidence of its popularity, is the over 200,000 downloads recorded in the Play Store.
