The fourth edition of the series will be Chaired by MD of the Edo State Information Communications and Technology Agency (ICTA), Olayemi Wonuola Keri and include a competition among students from select secondary schools, roundtable discussions and motivational talks from renowned women ICT professionals.

An initiative of the ITU, the celebration is part of the international campaign to encourage young girls to consider ICT as a profession.

The ITU declared 4th April every year a day of encouragement to girls and young women to consider careers in ICT, while other stakeholders are reminded to support them in their choice.

eBusiness Life has organised the event yearly in Nigeria, gathering young girls from different schools, to educate and sensitize them on ICT.
