Google will reportedly unveil its new Nexus phones at an event on Sept. 29.

According to a report by Roger Cheng at CNET, Google is expected to announce two new phones: one with a giant 5.7-inch screen and another with a smaller 5.2-inch display. The phones will be made by LG and Huawei.

There's also a huge possibility that Google will take this opportunity reveal more about the next version of Android, called Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Google gave a preview of the new software at its I/O developers conference back in May, but the company usually waits until the fall to show off the final product and reveal when the software will be available.

Usually, Google partners with other companies to make the Nexus phones and then uses devices to show off the latest improvements and changes coming in the next version of Android.

Also, this will be Google's first major event since it announced its major corporate restructuring. Google now a subset of Alphabet, a broader holding company led by Larry Page, which puts Sundar Pichai in charge of Google as its CEO.

There may not be any huge difference with this new event but this will be the first major event under a Google that is officially Pichai's baby.
