US President's iPhone only has one app

The conservative Trump does not have his phone configured like other iPhone users.

The President who has become synonymous to Twitter is known for his rather bold and controversial tweets.

CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey has said the president tweeting is actually a good thing contrary to popular opinion, because it makes him accountable that way.

The president also does not have any browser on his phone and  does not use a laptop, but rather depends on aides like Stephen K. Bannon, his former chief strategist, to hand-deliver printouts of articles from conservative media outlets - Trump is known to be a fan of FOX News.

Mr Trump according to White House officials recently switched from using a Samsung Galaxy S3 to using his iPhone.

Trump's iPhone could be configured remotely by a White House staffer through software called MDM, Apple blogger and podcaster John Gruber wrote on Sunday.

Aside from Trump's lack of familiarity with computers, the most likely reason for the restriction is security — the president's phone is a target for hackers around the world, so it needs to be completely locked-down to make it harder to hack.
