With the debacle of MTN Nigeria being fined for 5.2 Billion US Dollars by the Nigeria Telecommunications regulator – Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) for failing to register SIM Cards, AIM Group from Tanzania is bringing Identity and KYC to the fore at AfricaCom 2015.

The Tanzania based company is showcasing its EKYC Platform that has been nominated for a Best App for Africa AfricaCom 2015 Award.

The chairman of AIM Group Nadeem Juma is set to deliver a MasterClass Talk on November 18 at 14:40 Hrs where he remarks that "Through this talk we will discuss how identity has become critical for mobile operators on the continent, not just due to regulatory pressure, but because it is a critical element to providing more services into Africa's emerging markets. We will cover the existing challenges around Identification and KYC, and demonstrate how registration of customers can be done efficiently and how compliance can be transformed into business and service opportunities for the MNO.”
