President, Saraki, Sambo pray for Nigeria

The president was joined by prominent government officials for Friday's Juma'at prayer.

President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, former Vice President, Namadi Sambo as well as many ministers in President Buhari's cabinet joined him for Friday's Juma'at prayer.

This was disclosed by the president's Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, on his Twitter account where he posted a video of President Buhari greeting his guests.

Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant-General Tukur Buratai, Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, andInspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris were also with the president.

Nigeria's 57th independence anniversary will be celebrated on Sunday, October 1, with a public holiday announced for Monday, October 2 to mark the occassion.
