People feel we want to be on a level where we are the only big player within the road safety sector and that other states can’t come up with their own agencies but that is not true.

That is why we are bringing in the chief executive of Lagos state to feature at the 6th FRSC lecture as an example of a state where such traffic outlet exist.

The chief executive will share his experience for other states to learn and see that FRSC encourages state agencies for effective coordination and control of traffic within their region.

The FRSC handles other issues on road safety, we have more than enough to manage when it comes to traffic management,’’ he said.

Guests of the annual lecture series, themed "Partnering with States in Road Safety Administration’’, include Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ ad Abubakar.
