Mozambique's economic growth slowed to 4 percent in the first half of 2016 compared with 6.1 percent in the corresponding period last year, the government said on Wednesday.

The government has forecast that the economy will grow by 4.5 percent in 2016 from its initial estimate of 7 percent.
