FCT minister provides solution to constant traffic

According to FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Bello, the expansion of the Abuja-Keffi Road will reduce the hectic traffic in Abuja.

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Malam Muhammad Bello, has provided a solution to the constant traffic.

The Nation reports that he said that the expansion to 10 lanes will reduce the hectic congestion that axis is known for.

Bello added that this expansion would make room for easy movement from the North-East axis of the country.

Concerning the recent opening of the ISEX, Bello said it would reduce the gridlocks in Abuja.

The Executive Secretary of Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Engr. Adamu Ismaila, represented by the Director of Mass Housing, Engr. Umar Gambo Jibrin, revealed that the newly opened ISEX begins where the Abuja-Keffi road ends.

The ISEX is only 90% complete.

Upon completion, it will have underground and surface storm water drainage, power supply, a pedestrian bridge, street lighting and telecommunication ducts, more.
