Billionaire, others set to buy Peugeot Nigeria

Dangote is teaming up with the Bank of Industry (BoI), the Kaduna state and Kebbi state government to purchase major shares of Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN) Limited.

During the launch of the Bank of Industry youth empowerment scheme, Nasir el-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna state stated that is teaming up with the to purchase major shares of .

According to , El-Rufai stated that bids have been submitted to the carmaker.

“We have submitted bids for the car maker … with Aliko Dangote on board together with BoI, Kebbi and Kaduna state; we are confident our bid will sail through,” El-Rufai said.

Peugeot Nigeria assemble plant is located in Kaduna state. The plant has the capacity to assemple 240 cars daily.
