3 ways this sexy sports car is better than its predecessor, 458

Find out what makes the 2016 Ferrari 488 Spider sexier and more beautiful.

488 and 458

The 2016 Ferrari 488 Spider was unveiled earlier this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Built to compete against the McLaren 650S and Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4, this sports car is one sexy ride.

This proves that Ferrari decided to a better work with the 488 than the previous model, the 2015 Ferrari 458 Spider.

Here are some of the ways this sexy sports car is way better than its predecessor, the 458.

Smaller, more powerful engine- The most noticeable difference is the engine. The 488 comes with a new 3.9-liter turbocharged V-8 that produces 660 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque to replace the 562hp, high-revving, naturally aspirated V8 in the 458.

Better styling- The 488's lighting units have been redesigned, also, the bonnet has two big air vents. The flexible vanes in the front grille of the 458 have been replaced with a fixed splitter in the 488.

Better technology- The 2016 model comes with the Side Slip Angle Control 2 while the Side Slip Angle Control debuted on the 458 Speciale. According to Ferrari, this modified feature in the 488 is “more precise yet less invasive”.

With all these in mind, i think the 488 Spider is better than it's predecessor, the 458 Spider.
