The wait is finally over! Netflix just announced the release date for You season two, and it's only a month away.

Mark your calendars for December 26th, because that's when your favorite psycho thriller drama will be returning to Netflix for its second season. In a tweet on Monday, the You twitter account announced the show's return, writing: "Joes back, but where? YOU S2 December 26."

If you remember last season, then you know it ended on a cliffhanger with Joe ( Penn Badgley ) murdering his girlfriend Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Dean Lail). He's then confronted by his ex, Candace Stone (Ambyr Childers), who he thought was dead. In season two, fans will see the killer escape New York and move to Los Angeles for a fresh start. But it looks like Joe might not have picked an ideal hideout spot.

"One problem that Joe might face coming to Los Angeles is that you can't walk down the goddamn street without someone posing against a selfie wall for their Instagram," showrunner Sera Gamble told TV Guide . "If you want to lay low, if you want to stay out of trouble, if you're trying not to be knownLos Angeles is the wrong place to live." Especially if you're planning to kill another girlfriend (duh, Joe!).

It wouldn't be You if there wasn't a new love-interest-slash-victim for Joe to obsess over. Her name? Love Quinn (played by Victoria Pedretti). Unlike aspiring artist, social media fiend, and wannabe socialite Beck, Love Quinn is not interested in any of that.

Instead, she's an aspiring chef who currently works in a high-end grocery store as a produce manager. When she meets Joe, she's "tending to a deep grief" and "she senses a shared knowledge of profound, life-changing loss," showrunner Sera Gamble told EW .

If season one of You taught viewers anything, it's that Joe is down to kill anyone who gets in his way (Cue: Peach Salinger, Beck's concerned friend played by Shay Mitchell , who was on to Joe from the beginning).

Well, it looks like the serial killer will be met with a couple of new (and old!) suspicious friends. Season two will feature Charlie Bennett (Russian Doll) as Gabe, Love's concerned friend, James Scully (Heathers) as Love's brother Forty, and Jenna Ortega (Jane the Virgin) as Ellie.

Watch Penn Badgley talk about playing creepy Joe on You:

You'll also get an appearance from Beck's very attractive therapist Dr. Nicky (John Stamos) and, of course, Joe's previously mentioned ex Candace.
