ICYMI, Mike started talking up Keke on Monday morning's edition of Strahan, Sara & Keke. After he was asked about dating Demi Lovato, Mike segued into talking about himself and Kekenamely, about the possibility of something romantic happening between them. "I made a mistake. I don't like dating in public," he said. "But if I were to ask you if we could go on a date in the public..."
The Hustlers star and morning show host looked totally flustered by the question at the time and never really gave him an answer. Instead, she tried to throw the interview over to Mike and Sara, which resulted in some serious ribbing of Keke.
Now, she's given an update on the whole cringe-inducing situation, and it's pretty clear Keke wont be going out with Mike anytime soon. (Sorry to this man.)
"Well, first of all, I get real spooked about entertainers or reality [stars] I dont know, it really scares me to date people in the industry. Thats No. 1," she said on Good Morning America on Wednesday. "No. 2, he asked me in front of everybody."
Keke went on to say that she wont be going out with Mike and that she felt "ambushed" by the situation. "I felt like it was a big ol gag," she said. "I felt like I was the gag, Ive been duped!"
Guess the first rule of asking Keke Palmer out on national television is... don't.
