If you're a seasoned Dr. Pimple Popper viewer , you know she's got an arsenal of pimple-popping tools: comedone extractors, scalpels, forceps...even her bare hands.
But in her latest Instagram video, dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD pulls out a tool that she hasn't used in a while: her trusty punching tool.
In the new video, Dr. Pimple Popper gets to work on a cyst on a man's skin (the body part is unidentified but it looks to be either the stomach or back area). "It's time to #punch out, #popaholics," she wrote in the caption.
Dr. Pimple Popper places the punching tool directly on top of the man's cyst, and it leaves a perfect cyst-sized incision, ready for popping. After the punch, Dr. Pimple Popper squeezes the cyst just a little and gunk starts oozing out in the shape of the punch-sized hole.

It flowed like butter after that. The doctor merely swabbed it away, and then reached for her trusty knife and tweezers to pull the cyst's sac out so it doesn't come back (FYI: The cyst sac holds all the keratin content, which cysts are made up of, so if it's not removed, the cyst can regrow).
Tbh, that might have been the easiest cyst removal I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot of these), but what about that infamous "punch tool"? Turns out, Dr. Pimple Popper addressed the tool and why she uses it back in 2015 in a YouTube video : "In general, it all has to do with the size of the cyst, she explained. If the cyst is really big, she doesnt want to use a punch. But, if its smaller, a punch tool can help get things going and work out the goo.
