Seun's story

How we met :

13 years ago in 2003. We attended the same church but never saw each other before. On this day after our national vigil church service, I was outside having a chat with one of my older brother's friends.

A few minutes after I left him, he came back to me that he wants me to meet someone, at first I was like who can it be then I saw a dark skinned guy walking towards me, we chatted a bit then he asked me a few questions.

When I was leaving he called me back and gave me some new Naira notes, I think 50 Naira mint notes lol. I didn't want to collect it but I did eventually.  I gave him my house telephone number, so he could he could call me like forever.

Not quite long he asked if I had an email address so we could chat online but at that time I never had one, a few minutes later, Ademola called back and said  I should get a pen and piece of paper, so I could write down my new email address and password, I was so thrilled.

Eventually we kept communicating on the phone like everyday. Some days I had to go all the way to NITEL  and pay just to speak to him because at some point my dad had to lock the phone whenever he is leaving for work. Telephone bill increased that period all because of Demola and I.

Few months later, I got admission into the university we kind of lost contact but he wrote me letters before my dad got me a mobile phone and our communication got better. He later asked me to date him and I told him to give me sometime to think about it, he also told my cousin to speak to me as well. Few months later we started dating.

I travelled all the way to his school to see him and really had fun. He took me round, we even went for lectures together and met all his friends too.

The distance between us wasn't really a problem thanks to MTN Extra cool , we talked every night.

The Proposal

Ademola proposed  in November 2013. I was at his place for a short visit  and we were inside the room seeing a movie so I stepped out to get a glass of  juice for him. As I got back into the room he knelt down and asked if I will marry him and spend the rest of my life with him . I was shocked because I didn't see it coming . But it's been all good from that day . We are set to get married on the 27th of February. Yippee!

Ademola's  story

How we met:

I am not really good at telling stories , I'm happy I met Oluwaseun. I fell in love with her the first time I saw her back then in church and I knew she's the one.

Love at first sight really happens! Though it was hard getting her, "Daddy's girl"  can be difficult sometimes. She makes my life so beautiful.

Thanks to Almighty God and friends like Tope  and Kenny. Kenny is late but trust me he was very supportive all the years . We travelled  together severally to see Seun  back then in her university days. May his gentle soul continue to rest in peace.

Apparently my sweetheart and I bear same middle name. God is indeed wonderful. Made from heaven, forever to go. You mean a lot to me Oluwaseun and I love you.

Congratulations to Ademola and Oluwaseun
