If you plan to take a vacation to relax and take the edge off the year-long stress, here are three great ideas of places you can visit.
1. Morocco:
North Africa is always a good place to visit at any time of the year. If you are feeling lethargic and want to escape all the 'holiday spirit' in the air, here is the perfect place to go.
The country has a predominant Muslim population so instead of ubiquitous Christmas decorations, lights and trees, all you'll find here is the amazing culture, bright, vibrant colours and incredible cuisine.
You will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Berber architecture, acquire mosaic patterned lamps and ride a camel in the desert.
2. Cambodia:
If you live in a place where Christmas comes with snow and cold, Cambodia is the place to escape to this holiday. Cambodia is a tourist's dream because one of the most amazing UNESCO World heritage sites, Angkor Wat is located in Siem Reap.
The locals are warm and welcoming and your tour of these historical ruins and temples will be an adventure worth having.
3. Thailand:
While you may not get the Christmas vibes here because Thailand is a predominantly Buddhist country, there will still be celebration in the air because Buddhists love to celebrate.
Therefore, you may still see lights and grand decorations. There are many attractions in the country; you may visit the many temples or go scuba diving.
Tourists flock into Thailand during the holidays so you will also encounter fellow tourists while visiting.
