Africa is the world’s second largest and second most populous country in the world. It is the home to one of the most amazing people on earth and the birth place of jollof. When you dream of Africa, what comes to your mind? What do you dream of seeing?

Don’t miss out on these 3 sights and attractions

It is in reference to The Great Wildebeest Migration which takes place in East Africa between Tanzania and Kenya and is said to be the largest migration of mammals in the world. Now that would be a spectacle to behold!

2. Okavango Delta – This is found in Botswana and is not your usual river delta that empties into the sea, it rather empties onto open land and floods the savannah. It is a very large, swampy inland delta formed where the Okavango River reaches a tectonic trough in the central part of the endorheic basin of the Kalahari.

It is said to be one of the most incredible wilderness sanctuaries in Africa and the largest inland delta and perfect for an Okavango Delta Safari.

3. Fish River Canyon – This is the second largest canyon in the world after the Grand Canyon and it can be found in Namibia. The floor of the Canyon flows the Fish River, alternating between a trickle in the dry season and a raging torrent that continues the erosion process, after good rains.

The Fish River Canyon also has a hiking trail that is usually completed within 5 days. The wildlife that is sustained by the river includes wild horses, mountain zebra, kudu and klipspringer, as well as abundant birdlife.
