"I'm easy to please when it comes to food"

Through the years, Chef Fregz has become the go-to guy for all things food in Nigeria and it was for this very reason we sought to know what earns his pass mark when it comes to other people's food.

Leading Nigerian chef, Gbugbemi Fregene otherwise known as Chef Fregz, knows more than a few things about food.

Said Chef Fregz in a recent interview with Pulse Food:

"People think Im a very difficult person to please when it comes to food but Im the easiest person to please, all I beg of people is you dont do too much, dont do pass yourself"

Listing a few popular Lagos buka joints like Ajisafe rice as one of his favourite places to eat, Chef Fregz stated that what worked best for them was their decision to stick to what they know rather than try hard to do everything.

He further advised it was important to keep things simple and delicious, "just do something you can do at the back of your hand and let it be delicious" he said.
