The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), the premier Chamber of Commerce and a leading voice in the organised private sector (OPS) in Nigeria, brought the 2016 edition of the Lagos International Trade Fair to a close yesterday, 13th November, 2016.
Organizers reward schools during closing ceremony
The closing ceremony took place on Sunday 13th November, 2016 at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan, Lagos.
Guests at the closing ceremony include the Executive governor of Lagos state, Akinwumi Ambode ably represented by his deputy, Dr. (Mrs.) Oluranti Adebule;President, Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Chief Dr. Mrs Nike Akande and other top dignitaries from both the public and private sector.
The spectacular 10-day event which usually begins on the first Friday in November of every year since 1981 witnessed a large turn-out with former Anambra state governor and current minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige amongst them.
Prizes were given out to the winners of the LCCI secondary schools debate competition at the closing ceremony. Attoh Odera from Queens college, Yaba emerged as the eventual winner.
