Creativity came alive like never before
ART X Lagos held between Friday November 4 and Sunday November 6, 2016 at the Civic Centre Lagos.
The art show featured displays of different types of artwork from a long list of art galleries, art spaces, artists and curated projects.
Stunning and interesting pieces of art were displayed at the exhibition space and they showed the raw talent of the artists.

The opening ceremony on Friday, October 4, 2016 was well attended by stakeholders in the art world, artists, curators and gallery owners. Popular celebrities such as Olu Jacobs, Joke Silva, Adekunle Gold, Iyanya, Ade Bantu and Genevieve Nnanji.
Many of the artists were also around and they interacted with guests at the event while answering questions pertaining to their work.
On Saturday, November 5, 2016, the second day of the show, there were several talks presided over by panelists and a moderator.
The talks held on this day are: 'The art of collecting', 'African arts and its markets: hype or reality?', 'Positioning art within the creative economy', The African collector', 'Women artists and (in)visibility' and artist talking.
Sunday, November 6, 2016 ran in a similar manner as the previous day. The talks held are: 'In conversation', where Mark Coetzee discussed his trajectory as a curator; 'Collecting beyond the familiar- widening the parameters of the African art collection' and 'Cultural entrepreneurship and the rise of women leaders' which featured Mo Abudu, Bolanle Austen-Peters and Reni Folawiyo as panelists.
The ART X Talks were curated by Bisi Silva.
On Saturday and Sunday, there were ART X Live where artists created art right there and then as people watched.
The ART X Live was curated by A Whitespace Creative Agency.
The show was brought to a close on Sunday evening with the ART X Live Intersections which is a sound and art installation.
The art and sound installation featured artists and musicians fusing their crafts together to create art on the spot. The artists, who made use of different media are Vector, Poe, Simi, Falana, Yadi, Dricky, Tunde and Ikon.
They all created music on the spot and performed together, closing the show.
The art and sound installation was curated by Fatherland Media.
