Mascaras are known to have the shortest make-up life span. So just how long do we hold on to them before they begin to pose health risks?

In an earlier post, we'd established that we all have that one make-up item that's sat in our make-up purses for longer than we can remember.

But while we can hang on to some of these items for a long period of time, it is highly unadvisable for others. One of such items is the masacara. Of all the make-up items, the mascara is the one with the shortest lifespan. That said, just how long can we hold on to our mascara before it becomes highly recommended to toss them?
