A 29-year-old security man, Usman Taoridi, has been docked at the Ikeja Magistrates' Court sitting in Lagos State for allegedly raping his employer's 11-year-old daughter and injuring her in the process, the Guardian reports.

According to the police prosecutor, Sergeant Jimah Iseghede, the accused who lives in his employer’s residence at 27, Amosu Close, Ojokoro, had, on November 29, lured the girl into his room at the gatehouse and defiled her.

After he raped the girl, he warned her never to tell her parents or he would slaughter her but the girl went straight to her parents and told them what the security man did to her.

He was subsequently arrested and charged to court.
