Iyanya, Ghanaian President, Others React to BBC's Komla Dumor's Death

A wave of reactions have continued to trail BBC's Komla Dumor's sudden passing.

Reactions have continued to trail leading African journalist and British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) World reporter, Komla Dumor's death.

The Ghanaian native and 'Focus on Africa' presenter reportedly died of a heart attack at the age of 41 in his home in London yesterday.

Dumor joined the BBC in 2007 having won the Ghana Journalist of the Year award in 2003.

Leading the trail of reactions was Ghanaian President, John Dramani Mahama, who posted on Twitter, "Our nation has lost one of its finest ambassadors".

BBC's Global News Director Peter Horrocks said Dumor was "a leading light of African journalism".

Also Iyanya with whom Dumor had an interview last year also tweeted:

"Much respect and RIP to KOMLA DUMOR!! We had a chat the last time I was at the BBC house in London!! I was supposed to come back for another interview when I return back in February"

Dumor is survived by his wife, Kwansema and three children.
