Bukola Saraki - The beautiful bride

Bukola Saraki and the power drunk few in Aso Rock might just be testing the waters to know how Nigerians will react.

Senate President, Bukola Saraki

Being a staunch apostle of the present day government, my guy almost knocked over the banga soup I used my hard earned money to prepare as he tried to explain how impossible it is to do any magic in Aso Rock.

My position is that the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT’s) acquittal of Senate President, Bukola Saraki was aimed at giving him a clean sheet to make it easy if the need arises for him to answer the call of duty and ’serve at a higher capacity’.

All ye supporters of Saraki, hold on. Everything is possible in this our dear country Nigeria.

It has happened before. Have you forgotten how they did not let baba Shonekan finish his early morning tea and drop the cup before Abacha ‘sarandar’ him with gun?

It is a pity that the politicians have succeeded in dividing the youths of Nigeria along party lines. We celebrate personalities and political parties instead of values. The next thing you will see on Twitter is #WeStandWithSaraki #SarakiCanDoItBetter

Today’s alleged move by the Senate to impose  Bukola Saraki as the Acting President might just be the first scene of a carefully constructed movie, aimed at testing the waters.

According to Daily Post, Senator Kaniru Marafa cited relevant sections of the Nigerian constitution, saying, “if the President is not around, the Vice President should act, and if the Vice President is not around, the Senate President, who is the number 3 citizen should become acting President.”

Nigerians should not allow the political class continue to use things like the quit notice by a Northern group and Nnamdi Kanu’s eloquence to distract us.

These issues are just a way of raising tension in the polity, so the main actors can go ahead to roll out their scripts.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives,Yakubu Dogara expressed worry over the subtle deployment of soldiers in 28 states of the country, in the name of keeping peace.

Dogara said “the deployment of soldiers to over 28 states in the country is an indication that Nigeria is already in a state of emergency.”

The Speaker also added that in peacetime, soldiers are only meant to complement the police and other civil authorities, and not the other way round.

The only reason the hustlers are afraid of Acting President Yemi Osinbajo is because they have not found any skeleton in his cupboard that they can use against him.

It is time for us to pray for our nation and those in authority. While we pray, I advise we should open our eyes and watch too.

Mr. Acting President, you sef need to shine your eyes. Person no dey stay for swimming pool make soap enter him eyes oh!

It is important to note that the Senate President quickly ruled Senator Marafa out of order, according to reports.
