Should The FG Take Punitive Action Against South African Companies In Nigeria Over Seized $15 Million?

There is growing tension between Nigeria and the South African government and their companies based in the country over the seized $15 million allegedly meant for the purchase of arms, claiming the funds were laundered.

Recall that the SA government had confiscated $9.5 million found in a private jet owned by the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor. Few weeks later, another $5.2 million dollars, meant for the same purpose, was also seized by the SA government.

These seizures has inflamed the Nigerian government, with the National Security Adviser claiming that the deals were legitimate and has threatened to stifle the operations of South Africa owned businesses in Nigeria if the funds are not returned.

On Morning Teaser today, we ask: do you support the moves by the FG to take actions against businesses owned by South Africa in the country?
