Did Sen. Remi Tinubu do wrong in refusing to shake Bukola Saraki?

The refusal of Senator Remi Tinubu to shake the hand of Senate President Bukola Saraki has been drawing a lot of talking points. Did she do wrong?

Senator Remi Tinubu

The confusion in the Nigerian Senate is seems to be unending with the recent one being the refusal of Senator Remi Tinubu, representing Lagos Central, refusing to shake the hand of embattled Senate Bukola Saraki during the induction of the newly elected Senators.

Though many do not see this as something serious that could further increase the rancour in the upper Chamber, believing that the wife of the national leader of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Tinubu, had the right to either shake Saraki's hand or not, some purists believe that for the sake of unity in the Chamber, Senator Tinubu should have buried whatever grievance and done the right thing.

Some analysts are even of the view that her action could affect her relationship with the Senate President and by extension, her constituency.

On Morning Teaser today, we ask: do you see anything wrong in the refusal of Senator Remi Tinubu refusing to shake the hand of Senator Bukola Saraki?
