Pa Ajagunna Adalumo, a 90-year-old man, has been abducted by unknown men, at his residence in Oke-Ijebu, Ikole Ekiti.

According to the Daily Post, the nonagenarian, who is the father of a popular hotelier, Oluwole Adalumo, was taken on Wednesday, June 22, 2016.

Bimbo Ajayi, a relative of Pa Ajagunna revealed to the Daily Post how the incident came to be.

She said, “When the abductor came out of the house alongside the old man, two other men from the car dragged Baba into their car and drove away before people could suspect their mission.

“We raised alarm to prevent the abduction of Baba but they have left and we were unable to trace the vehicle,”

Relatives and friends of the kidnapped man gathered in front of his residence the day after his abduction, expressing their astonishment over the incident.

The police have been informed of the matter, and are currently investigating it.
