Hotelier kidnapped with ransom placed at N50m

The kidnappers have reached out to his family and are demanding N50 million ransom for his release.

Hotelier kidnapped in Minna

A Minna based hotelier and Director of Phoenix Hotel Limited, Chief Cletus Ojukwu, was kidnapped by a gang of six armed men at his home in Suleja, Niger State at about 8pm today, September 22.

They also tried to take away Ojukwu’s wife but for lack of space in their vehicle, they left her behind.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the Niger State Police Command, Bala Elkana, confirmed the kidnap of the Anambra-born businessman and says the police is investigating the matter.
