A Chinese man identified simply as Qin, has been arrested by the police in Guangxi, in the Southern part of the country for killing his girlfriend and going ahead to post the images of her corpse on WeChat, a social media platform, reports Shangaiist.

A Chinese man who murdered his girlfriend and posted the photo on WeChat has been arrested.
The suspect was arrested on Sunday, September 6, after he uploaded the morbid images to his WeChat moments after murdering the woman and the photos quickly began circulating online. Police were able to track him down hours after the crime occurred.
The images showed him lying in bed next to the dead woman identified as Lin, with the caption:
'Please forgive my selfish love.'

After he was arrested, Qin told the police he and Lin were lovers but he killed her after they got into an argument.
