This young Nigerian needs financial help urgently to help him secure an artificial limb after his leg was amputated as a result of an accident.

Oluwasesan Oluwatosin is a young Nigerian amputee who does not want to end his life as a beggar and is in need of the sum of N350, 000, to procure an artificial limb and get back with his life.

The 30-year-old Ikenne, Ogun State, born young man is a Sociology undergraduate of the Tai Solarin University of Education, and his sad tale began on August 15, 2013, when he travelled from Ijebu-Ode to Lagos.

“I was coming from Ijebu-Ode to Lagos in the evening of the fateful day when the accident happened. I didn’t know how it occurred but we just found ourselves in the bush. I lay there helplessly, shouting for help.

At the hospital, it was discovered that my left limp was seriously affected.  After much persuasion and it was getting to the point of death as a result of the pains, I succumbed for it to be amputated. I’ve been walking on crutches ever since."

He has been walking around with the help of crutches but that too has caused some discomfort for him as he he feels serious pains around his chest and waist region and thus the need for an artificial limb to help him fulfill his life's ambitions.

"I’m feeling pain on the chest because there is nothing to support me aside the crutches. Family members and friends always assist me to board vehicles.

A doctor at the Igbobi Orthopedic Hospital, Lagos, told me that the limb will cost N350, 000.

Initially everybody said they will support me to get the artificial limp but I later realized the promises were without any commitment.

I need the help of Nigerians. I need money to start life so that I will not be a moral monster, not begging.

I need artificial limp so that I can do things by myself at ease without inconveniencing people around me and be a burden to them. I want Nigerians to assist me to get the artificial limb."
