1-day-old baby found dumped in uncompleted building in Ondo

A one-day-old baby was rescued alive from where it was dumped by its wicked mother.

A day-old baby baby who was dumped by his mother in an uncompleted building in Ondo Town, the headquarters of Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State, has been rescued by policemen, Daily Mail reports.

The baby was found by a resident of the area inside the building which is still under construction located at Idimu-Alo Street, with placenta still wrapped around him.

The resident raised an alarm which attracted other members of the community to witness the shocking find.

The quickly alerted the police and the baby was evacuated immediately and took it to a motherless babies home in the community.

The Divisional Police Officer ( DPO), in charge of the area, CSP Kunle Omisakin, confirmed the development, saying investigations have commenced on the matter.
