Reply to Sahara Reporters' "Ekiti state governor inhuman and degrading treatment of workers over lateness"

Kukogho Iruesiri Samson insist that Governor Fayose treatment of workers is justified, It is high time we clean up the civil service.

Kukogho Iruesiri Samson, a poet and Journalist with Pulse.ng in a Facebook post insist that Governor Fayose treatment of workers is justified. According to him, perhaps this will start a discussion on civil servants ineptitude. Read the Facebook post below.

"I am not a fan of Fayose, but I LOVE this picture of him and his slobbering Ekiti Civil Service workers, lapping sand like primary school toddlers.

The story behind the picture is that they came late to work and were begging to be pardoned. I am happy just looking at it. In fact, I am saving it.

You may wonder why I am happy, even though people are calling this inhumane and wicked of the governor.

I am happy because of the many times Civil Servants have messed up my life through glaring ineptitude, crass irresponsibility and unveiled pomposity coated with blatant unprofessional behavior and seasoned with unrepentant greed.

These kind of people are everywhere in state and Federal Civil Service, living like kings in their offices.

I remember having to prostrate to get my letter signed in the Ministry of Women Affairs some three years ago, because the Yoruba secretary ignored me for two days in a row. I had to act like a Yoruba boy in Abuja, just to get information he was employed to offer me.

Same thing is applicable in the Local Government offices, especially during my NYSC at Njikoka LGA in Anambra state.

Honestly, we need this kind of 'inhumane' treatment all over the country.
