University students want to honour Brymo

Nigerian undergraduates under the umbrella of the Nigerian Universities Merit Awards are planning to honour Nigerian singer and songwriter,

The Nigerian Universities Merit Awards is an annual event which started in 2017.

According to Farombi Oluwaseun, the media officer of the award organizers, the purpose of NUMA is to award Nigerian students across the country adding that the undergraduate students are celebrating him because of his good music.

''We had to bring Brymo in due to popular demand by his fans due to the fact that he just launched an album and he is very much close to Nigerian students.

“The music of Brymo over the years has inspired Nigerian University students. He recently released an Album titled Oso his project and its impact on students is very enormous. Brymo deserves to be honoured for his good music''

Speaking about the award ceremony, Farombi says the event hold in Ile-Ife, Osun State on August 11, 2018, with students from over 30 Universities expected to be present at the ceremony.

He, therefore, urges Nigerian University students to keep celebrating excellence and promoting good virtues.
