Cowbellpeadia, a TV quiz show which ended on Saturday, November 11, saw Munachi win the competition with a total of 110 points and thus went home with a cash prize of one million Naira.
16-year-old Munachi makes history as two-time winner of competition
Munachi representing Loyola Jesuit in 2015 won the Junior category of the competition and came back again in 2017 to win the senior category.
In addition to the cash prize, Munachi also won five desktop computers and printer for his school, N400,000 for his Mathematics teacher and an educational trip abroad.
The 16-year-old has reportedly done what no student in Nigeria has done since the inception of the competition.
Following Munachi in the competition is Oluwanifise Onofowokan, a student of the Ambassadors College, Ota who finished second with 75 points.
Onofowokan went home with N750,000 with three desktops and N300,000 for her school and Mathematics teacher respectively.
Evans Owamoyo is the second runner-up with 70 points. He won a cash prize of N500,000 with two desktop computers and N200,000 for his school and Mathematics Teacher respectively.
