Varsity deploys N5m learning technology

Management of Bowen University, Osun State has deployed over N5 million  interactive electronic boards from its information technology partner, New Horizons Limited, Vanguard reports.

This move is in line with the 21st  century smart classroom, and it is aimed at exposing students to the 21st century learning environment.

The school authorities in charge maintained that the e-learning  tools would position the University for global competitiveness.

The President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Dr. Supo Ayokunle, commended New Horizons Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Tim Akano and his team for the high-end equipment which are expected to further ease and improve the process of learning by Bowen students.

He advised the vice chancellor to ensure that Bowen students benefits maximally from the IT partnership by making it one of the mandatory courses for all students irrespective of their academic disciplines.
