Obanikoro declares for Lagos Governorship

Obanikoro made the formal declaration on Tuesday, December 2, at the National Stadium in Surulere.

The former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro has officially declared his intention to run in the Lagos governorship elections in 2015.

The former minister of state will run on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) if he wins the party’s primaries.

“The journey ahead is going to be difficult but we must stay focused,Lagos belongs to all of us and we are going to put an end to an era where Lagos belongs to one man. Power belongs to God and man,” Obanikoro said during his declaration.

He also appealed for residents to join hands to aid the creation of a greater Lagos.
