President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn-in six national commissioners of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Buhari inaugurated the INEC commissioners on Wednesday, December 7, inside the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The new commissioners are Dr. Ogunmola Ladipo (South West); Mrs. May Agbamuche-Mbu (South South); Abubakar Nahuche (North West); Prof. Okechukwu Ibeano (South East); Mr. Muhammadu Haruna (North Central); and AVM Ahmad Muazu (retd.) (North East).

Buhari further urged the new appointees to preserve the integrity of the nation’s electoral process.
