Members of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) have taken to the streets of Lagos in protest to demand the resignation of the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Attahiru Jega.

The OPC members were said to have disrupted movement on the popular Ikorodu Road and also destroyed All Progressives Congress banners in their path.

The protesters were said to have been accompanied by SURE-P police escorts during the demonstration.
They were also reportedly armed with guns, cutlasses and pocket knives and were said to have handed out a pamphlet explaining why Jega should be sacked and President Goodluck Jonathan should be re-elected.
