Kanu, who was released from Kuje Prison in Abuja last Friday, arrived his hometown in Isiama Afara, Umuahia in Abia State, today.

He was said to have visited his father, Eze Israel Kanu and mother, Ugoeze Nnenne upon arrival.

Kanu was arrested in 2015 and locked up in Kuje prison for alleged treason and his agitations for the Republic of Biafra.
