The show hasn't been aired since last year but it still got the most votes.
Pulse Nigeria readers have revealed that Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde’s “The Real Me” is their number one reality TV show by a Nollywood actor.
Earlier this month we ran a poll asking readers what their favourite TV show by a Nigerian actor was.
They were given the options of Ekeinde’s show, Jim Iyke’s “Jewel for Jim” and “Jim Iyke Unscripted”, “Make Me Fabulous” by Stephanie Okereke–Linus and Chika Ike’s “African Diva”.
Iyke’s shows and “African Diva” each got 6.7% of the votes. “Make Me Fabulous” which is about bringing couples together and helping couples reignite the spark in their relationship got 13.3% of the votes. The show made its TV debut this year,
“The Real Me” gathered majority of the votes at 66.7%. Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde debuted the Pulse reader’s choice in December 2012. The show hasn't been aired since last year but it still got the most votes.
“The Real Me” followed the work life of the famous actress fondly called Omosexy by fans. The show revealed the private and professional life of the award winning talent. It was filmed in Lagos, London, Ghana, Miami and Jamaica.
In 2013, Time Magazine named Jalade-Ekeinde as one of the top 100 influential people in the world. Her acting career began in 1995.
