Sequel in works with Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell

"The Other Guys" actors, Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, will return as competitive fathers in a sequel to "Daddy's Home."

With Anders to return as director, and Burns as writer, the sequel will also return with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg reprising their roles as competitive fathers.

The comedy film which was released on Christmas Days in 2015, told the story of a mild-mannered radio executive, who struggles to become a good stepfather to his wife's two children, but complications arise when their father ( arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids.

The movie which also starred Linda Cardellini, Hannibal Buress and Paul Scheer, grossed over $240 million worldwide and $150 million domestically.
