The star said sports would have been his choice if he wasn't doing music
It has been all highs so far for reggae star, Patoranking.
The dance-hall genius is one of the Nigerian celebrities that has signed up for the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.
He was at the Lagos City Marathon office located at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, on Tuesday, where he picked a form to register for the first full international marathon in Nigeria in three decades.
The star is full of optimism concerning his participation in the event.
According to him, “Of course, I am happy to sign on for the race, trust me I will run on that day, I know I can go the whole 42km”.
He commented that if he was not a musician, he would have ventured into sports.
“If not music, I am sure I will have been a sports person, I really like this idea of a marathon, even if you say I don’t have fats to burn; running can help me ease out stress so I am going to be part of the participants on February 6”.
Deji Tinubu, the Chairman of Lagos State Sports Commission and head of the organising committee for the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon praised Paroranking for his involvement in the upcoming event.
