In a post shared today, October 20, 2016, Irabo writes, "Don't put plaster on what needs surgery" it's such a great day to be alive and behold the goodness of God. Remember that you cannot filter reality So remain true to yourself and don't covet the seeming perfect lives you see on social media. People have scars that are masked . People put a plaster on what needs surgery. live life on your own terms. It's ok not to have it all figured out."
The publisher, who has been married to seasoned broadcaster Soni Irabor for 33 years, had a knee surgery (arthroscopy) recently with her hubby by her side.
"Two weeks ago, I had arthroscopy and as always, my hubby was by my side; just as he was always there through out my ante-natal days and two deliveries. Ask him what hour my children were born and he would give you the minute by minute details. He would have been in the theater for the arthroscopy if he was allowed. Before I was wheeled in, we goofed around and took pictures. He made me laugh so much that all anxiety vanished," she wrote.
